JAHAN - Join and Help Afghanistan Now is a 501(c)(3)non-profit, non-political, humanitarian organization committed to helping women and children inside Afghanistan find their way toward self-sufficiency. JAHAN aims to set up two types of on-going programs:

1) The immediate assistance of widows and orphans through the distribution of food items to various facilities.

2) Long-term support of orphans and needy children through the sponorship program.

The organization's purpose is to establish immediate assistance for widows and orphans and also provide a living allowance covering food and other basic necessities for children to allow them return to school. Immediate assistance includes purchase and distribution of food for the starving, but more importantly the organization's aim is to provide the chance for the children to get an education and later be able to become employed, self-sufficient, and no longer dependent on cash handouts.

Through our website, you can sponsor children from our program or Afghanistan Demain, one of our trusted partner organizations.

Please be assured that 100% of all donations are applied to projects and does not cover any travel or personnel salary and expenses. We use an all-volunteer staff.
